FLOW Textured Ceramic Mug — Earth & Moss

Description

Part of artist Faye’s FLOW series, this ceramic mug takes on a more earthy, tactile expression with layered textures and muted natural tones.

The surface is built up with mottled brown, grey and soft pink glaze effects, interrupted by raised oval forms in warm ochre and deep moss green. Fine carved lines around the oval motifs add another layer of texture, giving the mug a raw, almost geological quality.

Like the other pieces in the FLOW series, the handle is shaped through the pressure of the artist’s hand in the clay, leaving an irregular sculptural form that feels personal and intentionally imperfect.

More subdued than the brighter FLOW colourways, this piece feels grounded, organic and richly textured — a functional mug with the presence of a small ceramic artwork.
